Jenka

I was born just before World War II and lived out the war years in Europe and Asia, where I had the opportunity to observe various cultures and note their differing opinions on what was considered appropriate and civilized. Because of the contradictory attitudes of these diverse peoples, I was able to free myself of any particular influence and approach all accepted "facts" with the critical eye of skepticism. As with many outsiders living in strange surroundings, I developed strong survival skills, by carefully observing the people I came in contact with, initially for signs of danger to my person and later out of sheer fascination with the human condition. That habit served me well in later years as I doggedly poked at all aspects of our physical existence and tried to figure out how things actually worked and why.

What I discovered not only amazed and awed me, but totally transformed my life in ways that made every day into "A Heaven on Earth." For more than a quarter of a century, I have shared my discoveries with selected individuals, mostly in the business community and in some cases, assisted them to achieve their desired goals. Now that, by business standards, I have reached retirement age, and no longer need to protect the anonymity my former type of work required, I am able to comply with the many requests, I received over the years, to put this information in written form. "A thoroughly enjoyable and eye opening read! Having devoured many books on this topic, I thought I knew all there was to know. How wrong I was. This book helped me realize that Heaven really is here on Earth."
Mr. J.T./Berlin, Germany

"My critique can be summarized in one word: WOW! My full review of this book is that it is a great gift, certainly to me, and I expect to many thousands of others. This is an extraordinary book, shining light on areas heretofore not adequately covered in any other book I am aware of. It is a bridge that brings continents of consciousness together and I plan to read it again and again."
Mr. B.C./New Plymouth Idaho USA

"What a flash of light! Now I know WHY I am driven in certain directions. "A Heaven on Earth" allows you to see beyond your own baggage like no other book I've read. I've spent hours thinking about it. This makes any self-help library complete, and maybe...obsolete."
Mr. C.O'M./Marietta, Georgia USA

"I enjoyed the book very much, particularly the forthright manner in which it is written. Refusing to kowtow to political correctness, "A Heaven on Earth" succinctly explains the magical experience of Life in a light, uncomplicated style."
Dr. C.E./Tokyo, Japan

"I enjoyed the wildly unpredictable anecdotal evidence. The overall sense of this book is of a puzzle falling neatly together. I was moved, comforted, reassured and inspired by "A Heaven on Earth" Ms. M.A./Portland, Oregon USA

Pageonelit.com: Where did you grow up and was reading and writing a part of your life? Who were your earliest influences and why?

Jenka: The first fifteen years of my life were spent traveling through Russia, Poland, Germany, France, eventually landing in New York City at age sixteen.

I suppose you could say I grew up a little in each of these places, but it was more in the style of a weed within a formal garden. Although I was instantly "visible" I was never really considered a part of whatever place I found myself in.

My scholastic abilities did not become apparent until I went to school in Paris. Students there were rated not only on results but the speed of results as well. This awakened my competitive streak, probably in response to being called a savage because I was born in Russia. That was when I decided to excel in everything, including writing, although my favorite subject was math.

I cannot say that I was influenced by anyone in particular. Probably because I did not admire any of the cultures enough to succumb to one of their icons, and thus avoided the trap of becoming a "follower."

Pageonelit.com: Why did you write A HEAVEN ON EARTH? What does the title say? Tell us about this book.

Jenka: I wrote A HEAVEN ON EARTH by request, you might say. Through the years, the people I came in contact with and helped, wanted something they could refer to after I had gone. Unfortunately, until recently, time constraints and other considerations got in the way.

I chose that title because I thought it was the simplest way to describe what we humans could achieve, without having to die first. I was frankly surprised to hear that people thought it was a religious book.

My goal was to share, with the general public, what I learned about the nuts and bolts of our physical reality, so that others could also get all their wishes granted by using the same tools, which have served me so well. Since I did not plan to write any more books, I distilled and crammed everything I know about human alchemy into A HEAVEN ON EARTH.

Pageonelit.com: A HEAVEN ON EARTH is a fascinating book - This is not your typical Self-Help book, actually some of the principles are opposite of a lot of those books that are in that category. Would you be reluctant to categorize this book and what should a reader hope to come away with after reading this book?

Jenka: I don't believe this book fits snugly into any category. First, the information provided was exhaustively tested in the "real world" and proved reliable. Second, this is not a book about how to delude ourselves so we can live in the world we prefer to imagine. This book is about how to love the world we live in and is a precise manual on how to make that world work for us. Third, this work is all encompassing and answers the major questions that puzzle many of us, even those who are religious.

Readers will finally be able to make sense of and put a name to many of their own experiences, as well as be challenged about many of the currently common assumptions.

What I hope people will come away with, after reading this book is, as one reader put it, the feeling of a puzzle coming neatly together. If taken to heart, this book can transform individuals' lives beyond their wildest dreams.

Pageonelit.com: You say, "The mind is bigger than the brain." Please explain.

Jenka: The mind, as opposed to the intellect, is not strictly part of our physical being, although it uses our physical brain and our solar plexus to communicate with our conscious awareness.

The mind belongs to the part of us that does not die, and, therefore, is not constrained by our physical senses, nor by the concept of time. It has a wider scope of vision, some of which would be interpreted as the "future" by our intellect.

Because many of us are not aware that we receive information from two distinctly different sources, we are only able to make use of the information from our mind in haphazard ways, which limits the percentage of successful and satisfactory outcomes.

The book explains how to tell the difference between the two and, in essence, transform our lives to the point where, what we call miracles, become commonplace occurrences.

Pageonelit.com: What has been your feedback from readers and book reviewers? What do they say to you about their interpretations of A HEAVEN ON EARTH? What do they like about the book?

Jenka: Readers' response has been everything an author could possibly dream of. The industry, however, pretty much ignores author/publishers with only one title to their name. It was also rejected by the "New Age" distributors. Although, personally, they thought the book was great, they were afraid of complaints from their customers, because of what they considered "objectionable" material. Now, don't go thinking that I use obscene language. It is simply that the book is not politically correct.

Those few professionals who did review the book tended to quote copiously from the book itself, rather than offer their personal views.

I will say this: So far, I have not received a single negative review and many of my readers communicate with me quite often via e-mail, from all over the world, even from Zimbabwe, to request that I elaborate on certain aspects of the book to assist them with their particular situations, as they come up.

Pageonelit.com: Tell me about Jenka Publications and your publishing experience with A HEAVEN ON EARTH.

Jenka: Jenka Publications was created specifically as a vehicle for the publication of A HEAVEN ON EARTH and to make it easy for readers to communicate directly with me. I preferred to publish this book myself, because the subject matter, although easy to read, is rather complex in concept and could not be entrusted to an editor.

Pageonelit.com: Are you working on a follow up? Or something totally different?

Jenka: I am in the process of preparing a second edition to further minimize areas of misunderstanding like changing the wording from: Miracles are every day occurrences to: Miracles are commonplace occurrences, because one reader thought I meant that each person was allotted one miracle per day.

I am also working on a series of articles which I plan to post on a website called www.how-to-resources.com for people who may not wish to read a whole book but may want information on a specific subject, like: How to cope with homosexuality.

Pageonelit.com: What was the last book you read?

Jenka: The last book I read was "CHANGING YOUR MIND ABOUT SMOKING" which I plan to recommend, along with several others, to my readers, on another website called www.bookloverspress.com

Pageonelit.com: Do you have any hobbies? What are they? How dot hey enhance your writing?

Jenka: Other than reading, I can't say that I have a hobby. I also like to walk, which is my way of meditating. My work has been my hobby. Succeeding in a new industry, every time one changes jobs (like: office manager to outside sales to teaching to building pianos to designing textiles to modeling, etc.) takes a great deal of energy and total commitment, which leaves very little time for much of anything else.

I do not consider myself a professional writer. If I did not understand that we are each given an opportunity to leave our world a little better than we found it and accepted that responsibility, I probably would not have bothered to write anything at all.
