PageOneLit.com: Where did you grow up and was reading and writing a part of your life? Who were your earliest influences and why?

Robert M. Vass:  These answers are from Bob Vass ,  I was born and raised in Philadelphia, attended public schools, Went into the US Navy in 1945. Reading and writing was not part of my life, I was influenced by local jocks, who were good role models,
My father passed away when I was 18 and when I was in the  U. S. Navy. I was influenced by my Dad before I went in the Navy.

PageOneLit.com: Why do you write?

Robert M. Vass:  I write because I enjoy writing. I believe I have something to say. I would like to earn money..
I like to put some humor in my writing. MY family wants me to write about my lifetime experiences.

PageOneLit.com:  Why did you write Should We Believe It?

Robert M. Vass:  To sell it and make money. To make readers aware that they should not  believe every thing they read, see, or hear. We are not telling the reader to disbelieve everything, but just to be careful what they believe.

PageOneLit.com:  Should We Believe It is about people who create misinformation - Explain. What are the reasons people create misinformation?

Robert M. Vass:  People create misinformation because they do not have the facts.
They misunderstood the message they heard. They made something up.
They were trying to oversell something. They just like to tell untruths.

PageOneLit.com: What's the difference between misinformation and missed information?

Robert M. Vass:  Misinformation is correct information that had been modified so that it is misinformation.
Missed information is just that. It is important information that has been left out of the message,

PageOneLit.com: Who are "Narrow Minded-Nerds"? PageOneLit.com: Why should we be warned of advertising that says, "Anyone can do it!" ?

Robert M. Vass:  A nerd is an unpleasant, unattractive, or insignificant  person. When this person (the nerd) is also petty and lacks tolerance we call him a narrow-minded-nerd. His way is the only way.

We should be aware of the ad that says "Any one can do it" because not everyone can do it.
Most people are not as adept as the person demonstrating the item that is being sold.
